Artist and painter Elisabetta Fantone is reaching new grounds! The launch of her collection "Blonde Icons" which took place last October at Marché Bonsecours in Montreal allowed Elisabetta to export 15 paintings of her collection to South Beach, Miami, at the DEJA VU art gallery where her work is garnering a lot of attention. Her large-sized creations, with brilliant colors are a symbol of pop modern art. The "Blonde Icons" exhibition is a series of 30 paintings which represents multiple faces of female celebrities, from yesterday to today.



 

During La Nuit Blanche of the Montreal High Lights Festival, 10 paintings of the "Blonde Icons" collection will be exposed at DECCA 77 restaurant, on February 27th and 28th in association with Gallery MX, which will also expose these paintings after the DECCA 77 exhibit. The balance of the paintings will remain in South Beach, Miami, at DEJA VU Gallery, on Ocean Drive and will then be exposed at another gallery on Lincoln Road as of March 30th, 2010.



 

Gallery MX opened its doors in 2006 and is located in the international district of Montreal between the Old Port and downtown, right in front of Jean-Paul-Riopelle park. This establishment is truly convenient for contemporary art exhibitions.

Discovered in 2006 thanks to the popular reality TV show "Loft Story", this artist conquered the hearts of all Quebec citizens. Since then, Elisabetta has accomplished quite a few artistic endeavors, among which: cinema, music, painting and literature with the release of her book entitled "Journal intime d'une Lofteuse".



 

Furthermore, in 2010, we will see Elisabetta on the small screen in the series "Blue Mountain State" which will air on SPIKE channel as of March 23rd, as well as in the NBC television film "The Mountain". She also stars in her first feature film "My name is Sandy" due out in theatres in 2010. Elisabetta is currently filming her own reality TV show pilot.
