This POP-ART exhibition will begin on February 14 th until March 8 th , 2009….Vernissage high in colors, inflatables and neons for the 6 th edition of the Montreal All-Nighter on Saturday February 28th starting at 6 pm.

Conventionally defined as Pop Art, Roger KATCH three-dimensional neon works are far more than compositions executed for the excellence of Design. Identifiable as optical aphorisms, each piece exposes confrontational values by transforming common objects into intelligible message rich in sarcasm and iconoclastic tones.

Born in Brazil, artist BRITTO brought a completely new expression to POP-ART. Thanks to his vibrant colours and playful themes, his work reflects an optimistic vision of the world that surrounds him. BRITTO's style fuses the artistic techniques of POP-ART with the complex composition of Cubism. Some of his works that were created specifically for Cirque du Soleil ®s special event for the opening ceremony, carried out at the Dolphin stadium of Miami, for the occasion of the Super Bowl XLI will be presented at galerie MX.
